Introduction:
The headquarters of the recently established Defence PSU Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) are located in Avadi, Chennai. It employs over 12,000 people and has five (05) production units. For the Armed Forces and Homeland Security Agencies, AVNL manufactures combat tanks, such as the T-72, T-90, MBT Arjun, and Infantry Combat Vehicles; support vehicles, such as MPVs and AERVs; and defense mobility systems, such as LPTAs and Stallions. A regular or full-time degree earned from an accredited university or institution under the 10+2+3 (or 10+2+4 or 10+2+5) system would be referred to as a degree.
- ii) Candidates with higher qualifications are not needed to apply, even if they meet the requirements listed in the advertisement or notification. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
A Screening Committee established specifically for that purpose will screen applications.
The application form, which is attached to the advertisement, must be filled out completely by candidates.
The completed Application Form must be sent to HVF so that the Screening Committee can review it.
A shortlist of candidates will be selected for interviews. In the event that more candidates match the eligibility requirements, the company may decide to implement stricter standards.
The application should explicitly state the qualifications required for the position. Before submitting their application, candidates are urged to confirm that they meet the requirements and other requirements.
Full-time contract engagements typically last for the length of time indicated in the job posting, with extensions possible based on performance and requirements.
There is no permanent vacancy, and the engagement is strictly contractual, temporary, and on a fixed-term basis. No candidate will be eligible to apply for regular or permanent employment with the company as a result of this engagement. Therefore, nothing in or related to the Contract shall create a principal-agent or employer-employee relationship between the Company and the Professionals it has contracted. Other than the fixed remuneration, they will not be eligible for any benefits, compensation, absorption, regularization, or permanent employment with the company.
During the duration of their contractual engagement, full-time employees are not permitted to accept any other assignments.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
As appropriate or when the business is open, they will work full-time, every working day. In the event of a functional requirement, they can even be expected to work on holidays and after regular business hours.
Depending on the circumstances, TA and DA may be compensated while on an official tour. For retired government employees, it might be in accordance with his retirement benefits. In other situations, decisions will be made case-by-case with the Competent Authority’s consent.
Either party may elect to end the engagement without giving a reason, and either party may do so with one month’s notice or one month’s pay.
Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen/J&K domicile categories would follow the norms set forth by the Government of India. Candidates from the reserved category who apply for an open position will be considered general candidates, and there will not be any exceptions. Candidates in the reserved category must present their caste or category certificate, issued by the appropriate authorities, in the format specified by the Government of India. OBC applicants who fall under the creamy layer category should only apply for general positions and apply as general candidates.
The mere act of submitting an application does not ensure that a candidate is qualified to proceed with the selection process. The candidate will not be entitled to an interview or appointment if they only meet the eligibility requirements. Any kind of canvassing will result in the candidate’s disqualification.
