Introduction:
For the position of Hospitality Monitor, which is contract based for two years initially and can be extended by one (1) additional year based on requirements and satisfactory performance, eligible and qualified individuals are asked to attend a walk-in interview.
Subject to meeting eligibility requirements, preference would be given to those who have previously been chosen to work for Indian Railways or IRCTC.
requires strong written and verbal communication abilities in Hindi and English. It is advantageous to know local languages like Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Selected candidates’ engagement will be contingent to passing the IRCTC-mandated medical fitness test.
Selection Process:
The application form, which is attached to this advertisement, must be filled out completely by candidates. Three recent passport-size photos, the original and one set of attested copies of the necessary documents, and the completed application form must be brought to the interview location for verification.
Interviews will be held, and candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and performance during the in-person interview. The offer of engagement will then be given to the qualified candidates in order of merit and vacancy count.
The names of the next 64 candidates will be added to a reserved panel in addition to the 64 chosen candidates, and they will be taken into consideration in the event of a shortage.
Scope of work:
In charge of overseeing and keeping an eye on food production, quality, and services in designated mobile and stationary catering units.
Verify adherence to corporate guidelines and accepted hospitality practices.
supplying the designated mobile/static catering units with personnel and supplies.
Handle complaints and issues pertaining to passenger and customer care.
gathering, analyzing, and modifying input.
ensuring that appropriate legislative regulations are followed.
Oversee and instruct employees in the proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
Organize with different offices, departments, and business associates.
Due to the nature of the job, one must travel by train up to 22 days a month (all throughout India).
General Information:
- No candidate shall be entitled to regular or permanent employment with IRCTC as a result of this engagement, which is solely contractual in nature. 2. 3. 4. Either party may end the contract by providing one month’s notice. The contract may be dissolved without notice if performance throughout the agreed-upon period is deemed to be inadequate. Leave will be granted to contractual staff in accordance with company policy. Applications are only accepted from Indian nationals.
- Government and PSU employees may apply through the appropriate method, provide a letter of recommendation at the interview, and, in the event that they are selected for IRCT, provide a formal letter of release from their current workplace.
- IRCTC retains the right to change or cancel the notification of the selection process and/or the advertisement.
- Depending on IRCTC’s needs at the time of engagement, the number of positions that need to be filled (including reserved panels) may go up or down.

The candidate’s candidature and services shall be instantly terminated if it is discovered during the selection process or even after engagement that they have provided inaccurate or false information, omitted any pertinent information or material facts, or failed to meet any requirements.
