Applications are invited from eligible candidates through the website only for selection through direct selection for the posts of Cleaner, Gardener, Water Man, Health Worker, Guard, in the Madras High Court.

 Note:

  1. This notification aims to fill the empty positions of Sothar, Office Assistant, Domestic Assistant, and Room Boy in the Madras High Court.
  2. Candidates applying for both of these notifications, N 72/2025 and N 73/2025, will take a single unified written test.
  3. If a candidate applies for all the posts/more than one post in both the notifications and has passed more than one, he will be selected for a post based on merit only, class-wise reservation, in the following order.

Office Assistant

Domestic Assistant

Room Boy

Cleaner

Gardener

Water Man

Hygiene Worker

Guard

Requests to change the position allocated to them will not be accepted under any circumstances.

  1. The examination fee will be calculated separately for each report. Candidates who have secured the minimum marks in the common written examination will be required to submit the necessary evidence to substantiate their claims. Similarly, a period of 72 hours will be given on the High Court Recruitment website to upload the required documents.

Documents uploaded after the specified period will not be accepted. Furthermore, applications based on those documents will be rejected. Applicants who fail to submit the required documents within the specified period will not be given additional time.

Applications submitted by other methods, such as post, courier, registered post, email, and direct submission, will not be accepted for any reason or circumstance. Correspondence in this regard will be ignored under any circumstances.

  1. Before submitting an online application, candidates are recommended to follow the notification and general guidelines for the vacancies of Sanitation Worker, Garden Worker, etc., on the recruiting website of the Madras High Court. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/recruitment/login.
  2. Candidates should apply online only through a mobile or tablet. They cannot apply through a mobile or tablet. Because only a computer or a laptop can be used to fill out the application form.
  3. All categories of candidates must register their basic details. Then, to apply for the posts given in the notification, they should apply by paying the prescribed examination fee on the recruitment website. The examination fee is not required to be paid by those who have been granted the fee waiver.
  4. Registration alone will not be considered as an application for any post. Only the details/information provided while submitting the applications to the Collector through the website will be considered. The Madras High Court’s Recruitment Division will not be responsible for any repercussions if applicants submit applications without the necessary details or with inaccurate or missing information.
  5. If the candidates are found to be ineligible at the time of selection, they shall be liable to be disqualified at any stage.
  6. Suppose the candidates apply for all the posts advertised and are selected for all or more than one post. In that case, their applications will be considered in the order of the posts advertised, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
  7. The candidates are required to apply only once for the post/s they are interested in. The Judicial Division of the Madras High Court is not liable for any issues that arise as a result of candidates submitting numerous applications. Therefore, candidates are advised to apply with caution when applying for the posts.
  8. The notification only contains general terms and conditions for the candidates in English and Tamil. In case of any discrepancy between the two, the English version shall prevail.
  9. The candidates can appoint another scribe to write the examination in their place, citing the deficiency in writing the applications of the differently abled candidates.
  10. The candidates can choose the scribe or the JRC scribe as per their choice.
  11. If the applicants bring their own scribe, the scribe’s educational qualification must be one step lower than the candidate’s. Because the educational qualification should not be less than the 10th standard.
  12. The differently abled candidates claiming the services of JRC scribe should submit the following certificates at the examination centre.

  • The maximum educational qualification for this advertisement has been fixed as 12th standard or its equivalent. Further, the minimum educational qualification should be 8th standard or its equivalent.
  • Therefore, the applicant should register an undertaking in the online application that his educational qualification is not higher than the prescribed maximum educational qualification of the 12th standard or its equivalent. If the maximum educational qualification for this notification is above 12th class and the application is not completed, legal action will be taken against the applicant.
  • The applicant is responsible for all the details submitted through the website. If incorrect information is provided while filling out the online application, the service providers, including the website server / common service centers, will not be held responsible. Before applying, the applicants should check the completed application once and then submit it. No action can be taken after submission.

Educational Qualification:

The applicant should have passed the 8th standard or its equivalent on the date of notification. The maximum should not be more than the 12th standard or its equivalent.

The applicant should submit an affidavit through the registration stating that he has not studied any higher education beyond the 12th standard. If the applicant has studied beyond the Devana educational program and has concealed it while applying, legal action will be taken against that person, and only criminal action.

Experience certificates should be obtained from the officer who saw him or from the employer.
