Introduction:

The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), an autonomous organization under the direction of the Ministry of Power, carries out research and development in the fields of electricity supply system operation, transmission, distribution, and generation.

CPRI supports the quality assurance and product development efforts of the electrical industry as the leading organization for initiating and guiding applied research in electrical power engineering.

Furthermore, CPRI is an impartial body that certifies and tests electrical equipment. In addition to its headquarters in Bangalore, the CPRI maintains offices in Bhopal, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Nashik, Noida, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Raipur.

For the following positions in different parts of India, CPRI is accepting online applications from qualified Indian nationals.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS / IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Applications are only accepted from Indian nationals who are at least eighteen years old.
  2. The candidate should confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements and other standards listed in this advertisement before applying.
  3. The number of openings listed in the advertisement may change based on the actual requirements at the time of selection; as a result, the number of reservations listed may also change.
  4. If candidates do not receive the information or notifications due to a change in their email address, mobile number, technical issue, or other circumstances outside of CPRI’s control, CPRI will not be held accountable.
  5. No questions or correspondence will be accepted in this regard from any individual or organization acting on behalf of the candidates. All decisions made by CPRI regarding eligibility, acceptance, or rejection of applications, selection processes, cut-off marks, and the administration of computer-based multiple-choice questions, skill tests, or trade tests will be final and binding on the candidates.
  6. Any kind of canvassing will result in the candidate’s candidacy being disqualified.
  7. All positions will initially be on probation for two years.
  8. According to Government of India regulations, all positions include leave, long-term care, medical benefits, and allowances for institute personnel.
  9. To avoid the last-minute rush, candidates are urged to apply as soon as possible. CPRI is not liable for network problems or other last-minute technological snags.

REGISTRATION AND SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION:

  1. Only the CPRI online registration method is available for eligible candidates to submit their applications.
  2. The candidate should have the following before registering and submitting their applications on the website.
  • A working mobile number and a self-email address.

  • Scanned copy of the candidate’s most recent passport-sized color photo.

  • The candidate’s scanned signature.

  • PDF versions of scanned copies of the SSLC, SSC, Matric, Degree, Diploma, ITI, Trade, and Marks certificates, experience certificates, NIELIT BCC certificates, Caste certificates, NOCs, and discharge certificates, if appropriate.

  1. In the designated place on the online application, a recent, color passport-sized photo that is no older than three months must be scanned and uploaded.
  2. It is necessary to scan and upload the signature (in black ink) on a white backdrop to the designated spot in the online application. Candidates must make sure that the uploaded signature is kept consistent throughout all platforms, including the computer-based multiple-choice question test attendance sheet and the posted signature.
  3. The candidature may be revoked if there is any discrepancy between the signatures. It is recommended that the candidate upload a signature that is easily recognizable and visible in the proper location.
  4. According to GoI regulations, age and reservation relaxations are only applicable for reserved positions.
  5. It is not permitted to submit more than one application for the same position; all applications will be promptly dismissed.
  6. Candidates who are applying for more than one position should submit a new online application form for each position, specifying the position and category, together with the required application fee and copies of their test results, certifications, and testimonials.
  7. Candidates with dual qualifications or specializations must demonstrate that their primary area of expertise meets the necessary eligibility requirements for the position both during the hiring process and, if applicable, during the document verification, trade test, or skill test.

PAYMENT OF FEES:

  1. Applications will be denied right away if the necessary fee is not included. No objection to such a refusal would be taken into account.
  2. SC, ST, PwBD, and former service members are free from paying fees.
  3. A registration form will be generated by the system after the online application has been submitted. It is recommended that candidates save the same for future use.
  4. The candidate is responsible for paying any bank transaction fees or processing costs that may be associated with online application fee payments.
  5. Only the application fees will be reimbursed by CPRI in the event that the recruitment is canceled at any point due to unanticipated circumstances; candidates will not be reimbursed for any other costs they may have spent.
  6. Online applications cannot be withdrawn once they have been registered, and the application cost cannot be reimbursed or saved for a future exam under any circumstances.

The candidate shall produce the following documents:

Originals for verifications during document verification or at any later moment when CPRI specifies it.

  1. Testimonials supporting the date of birth, such as a secondary school leaving certificate, matriculation certificate, SSC, or X standard marks card.
  2. Certificate of Educational Qualification with mark sheets for all completed years and semesters of exams.
  3. Experience/Service Certificate (if applicable) on the organization’s letterhead, clearly stating the position held, length of service, gross pay, and experience area as evidence of experience, duly certified by the organization in question.
  4. Caste/category certificate from the Competent Authority in the format specified by the Government of India (if applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
  5. In the case of ex-servicemen, the discharge certificate and their ID card are required.
  6. For candidates working for the Central, State, or Quasi-Governmental Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Public Sector Banks, or Autonomous Bodies, the employer must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  7. The English version of the advertising will be considered final if there are any differences between it and the Hindi version.
