AIRPORT WORKING JOBS 2025

Note:

If a candidate meets the eligibility requirements, they may apply for both roles. For these posts, there will be different examination fees.

  1. i) Candidates for airport ground staff must have passed the Intermediate (12th pass) Exam or its equivalent from an approved board.
  2. ii) Airport Loader: Candidates must have passed a recognized board’s matriculation exam or its equivalent.

Both men and women are welcome to apply to work as airport ground crew. Applications from new hires are also welcome.

Airport Loader:

Only men are qualified to apply. 

It is not necessary to have a certificate or diploma in aviation or airline.

Students in their 10th and above ITI are eligible to apply for the Ground Staff post.

For any category, there is no age relaxation.

Work Type: Airport Ground Crew:

primarily passenger check-in, airline ticket booking, boarding, and all terminal operations at the airport. Key requirements are airline and passenger satisfaction. Regardless of gender, the work schedule will consist of three shifts, including the night shift, and one weekly day off. Performance is the basis for career advancement.

Worker Type: Airport Loaders

The main duties at the airport include loading and unloading luggage and cargo from the aircraft and trolleys, as well as cleaning the aircraft and helping technicians in the workshop, helping people in wheelchairs, etc. On a rotating basis, the work schedule will consist of three shifts, including the night shift and a weekly off day. Performance is the basis for career advancement.

Details of Syllabus:

Sports and games, Indian literature and art, Indian monuments and locations, current events of national and worldwide significance, general science and biology (up to the tenth grade), India’s history, and the struggle for independence The physical, social, and economic geography of India and the world Indian Polity and Governance covers a wide range of topics, including the country’s political system and constitution, general scientific and technological advancements, including the nation’s nuclear and space programs, the United Nations and other important international organizations, environmental issues that affect India and the rest of the world, the basics of computers and computer applications, and common abbreviations. This section’s questions are designed to gauge the applicant’s overall capacity for learning. The Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding and Decoding, Analogy, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Non-verbal Reasoning based on Diagrams, Age Calculations, Calendar, and Clock will all be covered in general terms in the questions. Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Partnership, Profit and Loss, Average, Time and Work, Time and Distance, and so on are examples of number systems.

Examination Details:

The written test consists of 100 objective, multiple-choice questions. One mark is awarded for each question. No points will be awarded for untested inquiries.

Both Hindi and English will be used to deliver the test.

No negative marking will be applied.

The candidate should carefully consider which exam center to choose when completing the online application form.

Under no circumstances may the exam location be altered once it has been chosen. Candidates should therefore carefully choose the center and be sure to include it in their application.

IGI Aviation Services maintains the right to cancel any center and request that its applicants attend another center. Additionally, the employer has the right to transfer applicants from one testing location to another.

There is an examination fee of Rs 250 for loaders and Rs 350 for ground crew. There will never be a return for the charge after it has been paid.

All candidates, including those in reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, and EWS, will pay the same application fee.

It is imperative for candidates to make sure they pay the examination cost before the application deadline. The candidate will be held accountable for any late payment submissions.

The answer sheet and score cannot be re-evaluated, re-checked, or scrutinized. In this regard, no correspondence will be accepted.

Selection Process:

First, a candidate must take a written exam.

Those who pass the written exam will then go to the company’s registered office for a personal interview round (only for airport ground staff). The date & timing for the interview will be indicated in the call letter, which will be displayed on the internet.

Only Hindi and English will be used for the interview.
