Introduction:
Under the Ministry of Defence, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna company and India’s leading professional electronics company, is temporarily hiring engineering graduates for the following position in the Bengaluru Complex.
The upper age restriction will be lowered by three years for candidates who are OBC (NCL) and by five years for candidates who are SC/ST. In addition to the relaxation applicable to the aforementioned categories, candidates who fall within the PwBD category and have a disability of at least 40% will also receive a 10-year relaxation.
Candidates requesting an age relaxation must include a copy of the applicable certificate with their application, present it in original form if chosen, or provide it for verification at any later stage of the procedure.
EWS, OBC (NCL), SC, ST, and disability certificates must be submitted in the exact manner specified on the BEL website; otherwise, candidates will be categorized as “General,” if they also match all other requirements listed for General Candidates. Candidates in the EWS category should present their 2024–2025 certificate on or after April 1, 2025, while candidates in the OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category should present their 2024–2025 certificate on or after September 1, 2024.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (four years) with a passing grade from an accredited college, university, or institute in the engineering fields of mechanical, electrical, computer science, or electronics.
Candidates must be qualified from an AICTE/UGC-approved institution or institute or a recognized university for each of the positions listed.
The Provisional/Final Degree Certificate, which certifies the completion of the degree and includes the class and percentage of marks, must be attached by the candidates.
Candidates must present a certificate from their university, institution, or college attesting to their specialization in the qualifying degree if specialty is not mentioned in the qualifying degree as required by the minimum essential educational qualification.
TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT & ALLOWANCE:
A total of Rs. 12,000 will be paid annually to cover expenses such as medical insurance premiums, clothing allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc., in addition to the compensation mentioned above. The extra money will be paid in two equal installments; the first will be processed in the first month’s salary following joining, and the second will be paid six months after the joining date.
Depending on the needs of the project, candidates will be placed or deputed around India. In the event that the chosen applicant is assigned outside of Bangalore, where BEL does not have Units, Regional Offices, or Water Front Support Centers, they would receive 10% of their total compensation each month as Area Allowance to make up for the hardships they endure there.
If they meet the following requirements, a trainee engineer who has worked with BEL for two years as a trainee engineer may be considered for promotion to project engineer-I in the same unit:
For each position, an applicant should only submit one application. If a candidate submits more than one application for a single position, only their most recent, legitimate, and completed application will be taken into consideration and kept as their final submission; the application fee and any other fees paid for the other application or applications will be lost.
