Examination Department informs GCE Advanced Level Examination will be conducted after three days delay because of severe weather condition.
Therefore, the 2024 Advanced Level Examination will continue from Wednesday, December 4, the Commissioner-General of Examinations, Amit Jayasundara, has said.
Accordingly, the Department of Examinations has made it clear that the GCE Advanced level examination will not be held on 30 November, 2 and 3 December.
As it had been determined earlier that no Advanced Level Examination a will be held on the 27th, 28th and 29th because of the bad weather dominating in the country.
However it is clear that rains are subsiding though the Commissioner of Examinations spoke further and said the above decision is for the best interest of the students.
