Introduction:
Candidates must confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements in order to be eligible for the reservation or relaxation advantages offered to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, EWS, and ex-servicemen. In order to substantiate their claim for these benefits, they should also have all the necessary certificates in the format specified. These certifications must to be dated on or prior to the application deadline for the positions. When the results are finalized, the reservations under the various categories will be made in accordance with the current government norms.
A candidate for whom a certificate of eligibility is required may be accepted to the exam; however, the offer of employment cannot be made until the Government of India has granted the individual the required eligibility certificate.
On September 01, 2025, the candidate must be at least 21 years old and not older than 30 years old, meaning that they must have been born between September 02, 1995, and September 01, 2004.

Candidates to ensure their Eligibility for the Posts:
Candidates should confirm that they meet the requirements for the posted positions before applying. Based on the information provided in the online application, the Reserve Bank of India Services Board will admit all candidates who apply for the position and pay the required fee or notification charges (if applicable) to the examinations. Their eligibility will only be assessed at the last stage, which is the interview stage. At that point, if it is discovered that any of the information submitted in the online application is inaccurate or false, or if the Board determines that the candidate does not meet the requirements for the position, the candidate’s candidature will be canceled, and they will not be permitted to attend the interview or receive reimbursement for their travel expenses. If a candidate has already joined the Bank, they may be abruptly removed from its services.
Only individuals who have passed the Phase I exam will be eligible for free online pre-examination training offered by the Bank for Phase I and Phase II. Candidates who may want to use this facility can find detailed instructions in Appendix V, which is also accessible on the Bank’s website, www.rbi.org.in. Please be aware that completing the course does not guarantee that the candidate will be summoned for the exam or hired by the bank.
Pay Scale:
Candidates who are chosen will receive a base salary of ₹78,450/-per month, which is the starting salary for officers in Grade “B.” They will also be eligible for Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Learning Allowance, and House Rent Allowance in accordance with periodically applicable regulations. The starting monthly gross earnings (excluding HRA) are currently ₹1,50,374 (roughly). If the bank does not offer housing, the house rent allowance of 15% of pay will be paid.
The Bank may, at its sole discretion, consider offering up to four advance increments to candidates who have exceptionally high levels of professional or academic qualifications and experience that would be of great value to the Bank. At the interview stage only, the Board may, at its sole discretion, take into account requests for greater emoluments due to higher qualifications or unique experience that would be valuable to the Bank. Such details might be included in the relevant column of the Bio-data Form. Four increments will be the most that can be taken into consideration. Any requests received after the interview will not be considered by the Board or Bank.
Bank accommodations, contingent on availability; reimbursement of official vehicle maintenance costs; newspaper, phone, and book grants; reimbursement of medical expenses for OPD treatment or hospitalization according to eligibility; free dispensary facilities in addition to interest-free festival advance; and leave fare concession (once every two years for the self, spouse, and eligible dependents).
