IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
(i) Before completing the ONLINE application, please carefully read the material provided in the CEN.
(ii) Before the deadline for submitting applications against this CEN, candidates must make sure they meet all the educational and technical requirements for the position. Applicants are not permitted to apply if they are awaiting the results of the required technical or educational qualifications.
(iii) Only online applications via the link on official RRB websites may be submitted. Before submitting an online application, candidates must review Annexure A (post-wise parameters), Annexure B (RRB & zone-wise vacancy details), and Annexure C (details of merged post categories) of this comprehensive CEN to determine their eligibility. The positions listed in this CEN, both RRB-wise and railway-wise, are tentative and subject to change based on the needs of the relevant railway authorities.
(iv) Since a different CBT will be held for every Pay Level, a different application needs to be submitted for each Pay Level. Additionally, each Pay Level’s appropriate Examination Fee must be paid separately.
(v) RRB Selection and Post Preferences: Within a Pay Level, candidates should select just one RRB and indicate their preference for Zonal Railways/PUs and the postings that fall under that RRB. Subject to vacancies at the time of allocation, candidates with partial options will only be taken into consideration for the particular Zonal Railways/PUs and accompanying posts that they have chosen.
Note:
The purpose of this merger is to make the application process easier, quicker, and more convenient for applicants. When they report to their designated Zonal Railways, candidates appointed against an MPC may be given any post designation, along with the department and sub-department under that MPC.
Eligibility:
Candidates’ eligibility will be deemed provisional based on the information they provided in their online application. The RRB will not undertake extensive scrutiny of applications for eligibility; therefore, candidature will be allowed only provisionally, subject to completing basic eligibility conditions as required. Candidates must confirm their eligibility for the position by reviewing the qualifications, which include age, medical standards, and educational background. At the time of document verification by RRB, the certificates and documents supporting their educational qualifications, age, caste, category, etc., would be asked. If any claim stated in the application is not supported by certificates or documents after the EQs, age, caste, category, etc., have been examined, the candidate’s candidature would be canceled. Furthermore, a candidate’s candidature will be immediately rejected if it is discovered during the recruitment process or even after that that any information about them is inaccurate or false, that they have concealed any pertinent information, or that they do not meet the requirements for the position.
Candidates will be required to create an account during the online application process. Candidates should apply for this CEN (i.e., CEN No. 02/2025) using the same login credentials if they have already created an account during previous RRB CENs. In the event that the candidates have not already created an account, they must do so before completing the application for this CEN. It is recommended that candidates carefully fill out the necessary information to create their account, as any changes made after the account has been created will not be allowed. Once the account has been created, the information entered in the “Create an Account” form—including your email address and mobile number—cannot be changed.
