Important Notice to Students Writing GCE Advanced Level

The authority of the Ministry of Education assured that the GCE advanced level examination of 2024 will begin on the 25th of November and will end on the 20th of December in 2024.

The DMC and the Department of Examinations are engaging in finding ways and means to make the above planned 2024 GCE Advance Level examination free from disruptions.

This plan is because there is anticipation of a low pressure system over the Bay of Bengal.

The purpose of designing a good environment is for students to be able to take their exams unfettered from the helves of harsh weather or disasters.

The awareness session was carried out at the DMC with District Quartermaster Major General (Retired) Udaya Herath taking essential officials from several levels to the occasion.

The program is to enhance the safety in emergency response to address any issues arising during the exams.

Many approaches have been provided by the DMC, like the armed force and police, to address concerns during the exam period.
