RAILWAY JOBS 2025

Introduction:

For the positions of Section Controller in various Indian Railways Zone Railways, RRBs are accepting online applications from qualified Indian nationals and other nations as stated in Paragraph D 4.0 of this CEN. Completed applications must be sent online to the selected Railway Recruitment Board by 23:59 on October 14, 2025.

The CBT and Empanelment results will be posted on the relevant RRBs’ official websites.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS- ONLINE REGISTRATION & SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION:

Candidates should make sure that, as of the online application deadline of October 14, 2025, they meet all qualifying requirements for the position. Candidates are not eligible to apply if they are awaiting the final results of their prescribed educational qualification.

It is recommended that applicants carefully study all of the directions and information in the CEN that are accessible on the websites of RRBs before completing the online application.

As stated in Paragraph D16 of this CEN, candidates are encouraged to access only the RRBs’ official websites and to exercise extreme caution when dealing with fraudulent websites and employment swindlers.

Since RRBs will only send out recruitment-related messages by email and SMS until the hiring process is done, candidates should have their own mobile number and a legitimate, active personal email address. They should also keep both of these active throughout the hiring process. Requests to modify an email address or mobile number will never be considered by RRBs.

As stated in Paragraph D16, applications must only be filed online and via the RRB websites. Only a single application must be sent to the chosen RRB for each of the listed positions in this CEN for that particular RRB. Only one RRB may accept applications from candidates. If an application is submitted to more than one RRB, it will be rejected. A candidate will be disqualified and barred from all subsequent RRB and RRC exams if they attempt to submit more than one application against this CEN.

To determine their eligibility, candidates must review the Post Parameter Table (ANNEXURE-A) and Vacancy Table (ANNEXURE-B). Candidates should then exercise their RRB options and zone within the selected RRB based on their eligibility. Once exercised, the RRB selection will be final.

Candidates’ eligibility will be deemed provisional based on the information they provided in their online application. Since the RRB will not thoroughly review applications for eligibility, a candidate will only be allowed provisionally if they meet the necessary basic eligibility requirements. Candidates must confirm their eligibility for the position by reviewing the qualifications, which include age, medical standards, and educational background. At the time of document verification, RRBs will look for the certificates or documents proving their educational background, age, caste, category, etc.

The deadline for submitting ONLINE applications against this CEN will be the critical date for claiming SC/ST/OBC/EWS/EBC/PwBD status or any other benefit, such as fee reduction, reservation, age relaxation, etc., unless otherwise noted.

Applicants for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/ExSM/PwBD reservation/relaxation benefits must confirm that they qualify for such benefits in accordance with the qualifying requirements outlined in the Rules/CEN. As required by the Rules and CEN, they must have all the necessary credentials in the format specified to substantiate their claim.
