Introduction:
The candidate must meet the specified eligibility requirements in order to be admitted to any stage of the recruiting process.
The RRB will not necessarily accept a candidate’s candidature just because they get an e-call letter. Before permitting the candidate to take the test, the suitability, legitimacy, and genuineness of their signature and photo will be checked at the time of the examination, together with the candidate’s other necessary credentials. At later phases of the hiring process, the candidates’ credentials and the veracity of the information they have submitted will be checked.
Only after applicants have passed every exam stage and been tentatively shortlisted for document verification do RRBs verify eligibility requirements (using the original documents as a guide). When it comes to document verification, the RRB will compare the information in the online application with the candidates’ original supporting documentation.
such as age, caste or category, medical criteria, educational or technical background, etc.), will lead to the candidate’s rejection. Additionally, if it is found during the hiring process or later that a candidate has fabricated information or concealed important facts, their application or appointment will be immediately canceled. If they are hired, they will be dismissed from their position and will not be allowed to take the RRB or RRC exams again for the rest of their lives.
Candidates should confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements, such as age, educational background, and medical standards, before applying for the position listed in this notification. Candidates should confirm that, as of the online submission deadline of October 14, 2025, they possess the necessary educational credentials from an accredited Board, University, or Institute. Applicants should not apply if they are awaiting the results of the final exam for the required qualification.
Candidates who attempt to apply to more than one RRB or to the same RRB more than once with only little modifications to their facts and/or information will have their applications summarily rejected and will not be allowed to take the RRB or RRC exams in the future.
Candidates should not apply for this announcement if they have been debarred by any RRB or RRC, either permanently or for a predetermined length of time that has not yet ended. As soon as it is discovered, their application will be turned down at any point during the hiring process.
Those who have been fired from the Indian government, a state government, a public university, or any other government agency are ineligible and should not apply.
When creating an account on the online application, the candidate must give their name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth as they appear on their SSC, SSLC, matriculation, or 10th grade exam certificate, or an equivalent certificate.
Candidates should declare their altered name and their SSC/SSLC/Matriculation/10th class name separately at the appropriate locations in their online application if their name changes in relation to the name listed on their SSC/SSLC/Matriculation/10th class certificate. All other information, however, must correspond to an SSC, SSLC, matriculation, 10th grade, or comparable certificate, and the modification must be made before the online application deadline.
In these situations, a valid photo ID with the updated name and the Gazette Notification or any other applicable legal document should be presented at the time of CBT/Document Verification (DV).
As instructed in paragraph 14.4.0, candidates must make sure they upload a live photo of themselves together with their own signature, adhering to the basic requirements outlined in paragraph 14.5.0. At any point during the hiring process, applications with hazy, unreadable, or unusual photos and/or signatures may be disqualified.
As needed and appropriate, RRBs retain the right to add, alter, or modify any later amendments to the terms and circumstances of recruitment under this CEN.
If an accidental error or typographical mistake is discovered during the RRB selection process, at any point during the recruiting process, including after the candidate has been appointed to the Railways, RRB has the right to cancel or alter the results. Additionally, RRBs retain the authority to withdraw such applicants from the selection panel, revoke their Railway appointment, and, if they have already been appointed, remove them from Railway service.
For the purpose of hiring new employees, RRBs may, with the candidates’ permission, share their test results with other Ministries, Departments, PSUs, and private organizations. When completing the online application, candidates have the option to consent to this or not.
In order to avoid any last-minute rush, candidates are encouraged to submit their online applications well in advance of the application deadline. Given the potential for high internet or website traffic in the closing days, this precaution is advised.
