Introduction:
The ICMR-National Institute of Epidemiology (ICMR-NIE), a research institute operated by the Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, is inviting eligible Indian citizens to apply online for a number of administrative cadre positions.
Applications will only be accepted if they are completed online using the provided URL and are deemed to be in order.
Before applying for the position, candidates should carefully read the comprehensive notification to make sure they meet the qualifying requirements listed. Applicants who do not meet the qualifying requirements will have their applications canceled at any point during the hiring process without prior warning. At every level of the hiring procedure, the applicants’ candidature will be strictly PROVISIONAL. Here are the specifics:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- a) The candidate needs to be an Indian national.
- b) By the regulations, the positions must be filled by direct recruiting.
- b) As of the application deadline, all candidates must meet the requirements for the positions and any additional requirements listed in the notification.
- d) A candidate does not automatically qualify for the position based solely on their educational background.
- e) The shortlisted candidates will get the date, time, and location of the CBT by email or the www.nie.gov.in website; no questions or requests regarding this will be accepted. For the most recent information on the recruiting process’s status, candidates are encouraged to periodically check the ICMR-NIE website.
- f) Candidates must arrange their transportation and will not receive any TA or DA for attending the CBT/Skill Test.
- g) All India Transfer Liability applies to all positions. h) Following ICMR regulations, pay and allowances are acceptable.
Regardless of a candidate’s CBT scores, their candidature will be automatically canceled without explanation or notification if it is discovered during the recruitment process or even after they have been appointed that they do not meet the necessary qualifications for the aforementioned eligibility criteria, or that they have provided inaccurate, false, or misleading information on their application form, or that they have omitted any material facts, or that they are otherwise ineligible.
AGE LIMIT:
The upper age limit will be established as of the online application deadline.
Only the date of birth listed on the matriculation/secondary examination certificate will be used to calculate age; any further requests for a modification will not be taken into account or approved.
Reserved (SC/OBC) candidates applying for unreserved positions will not be eligible for an age relaxation.
According to government instructions, the upper age limit may be lowered as of the application deadline, which is listed below.
Candidates with a minimum of 40% disability would be eligible for a relaxation of the PwBD age limit. In order to claim age relaxation, candidates must affix the appropriate Disability Certificate, issued by the Government of India’s competent Medical Authority; otherwise, no age relaxation will be taken into consideration.
If a person with a handicap is eligible for age concession because they work for the Central Government, they will be eligible for the concession as either a “person with disability” or a “Central Government employee,” whichever is more advantageous to them.
Only when there are spaces set aside for applicants from designated categories is the age relaxation allowed. Candidates from the reserved category who apply for unreserved positions will receive the same treatment as those from the UR category.
Special Instructions for PwBD Candidates:
The guidelines in the OM dated January 15, 2018, issued by DOPT, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India, regarding reservations for individuals with benchmark disabilities would be followed.
Under the OM dated January 15, 2018, which was issued by the Department of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India, regarding the reservation for individuals with benchmark disabilities, those who are chosen per the quota for individuals with benchmark disabilities will be assigned to the appropriate category, which may include SC, ST, OBC, UR, or EWS. They must compete by the rules set down for their particular category, which are SC, OBC, and UR.
The applicant must possess a current Disability Certificate from the relevant authority, such as the Medical Board, which is established by the federal or state government. A certificate from a hospital, physician, or other organization will not be taken into account. A Medical Board established especially for this purpose would determine the physical incapacity of the individuals who were ultimately chosen.
Candidates with low vision who would like to use a magnifying glass are permitted to do so in the test room. It will be necessary for these applicants to bring their magnifying lenses to the exam room.
