Introduction:
NITTTR CHENNAI RECRUITMENT… Any notice of correction or cancellation about the hiring process must only be posted on NITTTR Chennai’s official website.
Service conditions:
- The Ministry of Education, Government of India, New Delhi, oversees NITTTR Chennai, a Centrally Funded Technical Institute that falls under the unique category of a university.
- The Society’s current and occasionally modified rules and regulations regulate the Institute. The Institute’s established norms will be followed for making appointments to the posted positions.
- Pay and other benefits will be allowed as periodically authorized by the Indian government. The National Pension System (NPS), which went into effect in January 2004, will be relevant.
- By the Institute’s current or periodically modified policies, leave travel concessions and medical facilities are also permitted.
General instructions:
Before applying, please carefully read the following instructions. The Institute may reject the application if any of the instructions listed below are not followed.
- Candidates are asked to check the Institute’s website from time to time for any updates on the hiring procedure.
- The applications will be subjected to a rigorous assessment procedure.
- Our institute’s website will be updated with the list of shortlisted and rejected applicants.
- The shortlisted applicants must show up for the written exam, interview, or skill test (if applicable) at the time and location specified on the hall pass, which can be downloaded from our Institute’s website or sent by email.
- The candidates must follow the guidelines listed on their hall pass. There will be interviews for Group-A positions. Written and/or skill tests, as appropriate, will be administered for Group B and Group C positions.
- Either a computer-based test or an OMR-based test will be used to administer the written exam.
- It is recommended that only those who meet the minimal requirements apply.
- Candidates are not entitled to be invited for the written exam, skill test, or interview just because they meet the minimal requirements.
- The Institute’s website will have the written test and skill test syllabus, and exam format.
- Additionally, a candidate’s performance on the written exam, skill test, or interview (if applicable) does not ensure that they will be offered a job.
- If a candidate’s qualifications, level, and/or experience exceed the minimal requirements listed in the advertisement, NITTTR Chennai has the right to limit the number of candidates who are invited to the written test, skill test, or interview to a manageable number.
Applications from candidates:
- In order for their application to be considered, candidates who have received degrees from accredited foreign universities must attach the “Equivalence Certificate” provided by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
- Those who assert equivalency in any criterion must provide supporting documentation, such as an equivalency certificate.
- Applications from currently employed candidates (whether permanent or temporary) will only be taken into consideration if they are sent through the appropriate channel (the Head of the Institution/Organization) and include a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from the current employer; otherwise, the application and advance copy may be summarily rejected.
- The reservation policy will be adhered to by the Indian government regulations. The Ministry of Education’s instructions will be followed up to the day of the written exam, skill test, or interview, whichever comes first.
- A copy of the applicable certificate from the Competent Authority should be sent with the application by candidates who are SC, ST, PwD, or ex-servicemen. Otherwise, they will only be considered as UR candidates.
- The printout of the properly completed application form must be accompanied by self-attested copies of the documents, certificates, and degrees.
- The application form does not require the original submission of any certificates.
- Even if a candidate passes the written exam, skill test, or interview (whichever applies), they will be rejected if they fail to submit the required supporting documentation during certificate verification.
- If the original certificates are included with the application, the Institute is not liable for returning them.
- The candidate’s eligibility (qualifications, experience, maximum age, and any other shortlisting requirements) will be assessed as of the application deadline. Even if an OBC, SC, ST, PwD, or ex-serviceman qualifies in the written exam, skill test, or interview, their candidature will be rejected if they claim age relaxation and fee exemption without submitting the required self-attested relevant certificate from the appropriate authority (documents submitted after the deadline will not be taken into consideration).
- Incomplete applications, do not meet the minimum requirements, lack the necessary information, have improper enclosures, do not include the application fee payment details, are filled with errors, are not sent through the appropriate channel (if applicable), or are received after the deadline will be rejected.
- No more correspondence will be accepted in this regard.
- Based on the recommendations of the duly established Selection Committee (if applicable), the Competent Authority of the Institute will determine the hiring and compensation.
- The Competent Authority’s judgment will be final.
- The courts in Madras, the Institute’s headquarters, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, lawsuit, or legal action brought against NITTTR Chennai.
- The Director of BoG will have the authority to establish the process for any issue not specifically covered above.
- Any kind of canvassing will result in the applicant’s disqualification.
- Subject to any periodic revisions, the Ministry of Education’s regulations pertaining to pay and allowances, leave, and NPS (Pension and Provident Fund, if applicable) would be adhered to.
- If an appointed candidate is later discovered to have passed a test using unfair means, cheating, forgery, or impersonation, they will be fired without warning and face criminal charges.
- Inquiries about the results of the written exam, skill test, or interview (if applicable) will not be considered in the interim; successful candidates will be notified of the results in due time.
- The judgment of NITTTR Chennai is final and binding in the event of any disagreement or ambiguity that may arise during the selection process. NITTTR Chennai retains the right to change, remove, or cancel any correspondence sent to candidates if an unintentional error in the selection process is discovered at any point, including after the appointment letter has been issued.
