For the following positions, NMDC is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates: Donimalai Iron Ore Mine, Donimalai Complex in Bellary, Karnataka; Kirandul Complex; and Bailadila Iron Ore Mine, Bacheli Complex in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh.
For the listed positions in the Donimalai Complex, Bacheli Complex, and Kirandul Complex, there will be a distinct written exam known as the Optical Mark Recognition Based/Computer Based Test (OMR/CBT).
For a specific project, such as the Donimalai Complex, Bacheli, or Kirandul, the candidate must only submit his or her online application once.
Several applications for the same position from separate projects will not be taken into consideration. Only one role and one project may be applied for by a candidate.
Candidates will have their applications rejected at any point during the selection process if they apply for more than one position or project.
HOW TO APPLY:
Only online applications will be reviewed. The applicant must apply online using the instructions below.
On all working days, the helpline email address nmdc@jobapply.in will be open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM to help with technical issues pertaining solely to the online mode.
In order for their application to be evaluated, candidates must complete all online fields and attach all necessary documents and certificates in accordance with the notification requirements.
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 150/- (Rupees one hundred and fifty only) must be paid by each candidate.
Through SBICollect, where Internet Banking is coupled with an online application, payments can be made by UPI, credit card, or online net banking. The candidate will be responsible for paying any transaction fees.
Following a successful transaction, an application form with the application number and unique transaction number will be generated; this form should be printed for documentation.
The candidate’s online application will not be deemed complete, and they will need to reapply if they do not receive the application form with the Unique Transaction Number.
In the event of a failed transaction, the money will be promptly returned within ten business days to the original account.
If the notification for which the application fee was paid is canceled, the application money will not be reimbursed or applied to any subsequent notifications.
MODE OF SELECTION:
The objective multiple-choice questions on the Computer Based Test (CBT)/OMR Based Test will be in Hindi and English for the Kirandul Complex and Bacheli Complex, and in Hindi, English, and Kannada for the Donimalai Complex.
Even during the review process, NMDC retains the authority, if necessary, to remove or modify any question or questions from the Computer Based Test (CBT) or OMR Based Test.
For the position of Maintenance Assistant (Mech.) (Tr.) for the Motor Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic Trades, the Computer Based Test (CBT) subject knowledge paper will be the same for both trades.
By the reservation policy, the applicants will be invited for the second level test based on their performance in the computer-based test (CBT) or OMR-based test. Nonetheless, the candidate must receive the following minimum scores on the OMR-based or computer-based test (CBT):
Candidates who took the second level exam and did not receive the required number of points are not eligible to be considered for inclusion in the final merit list.
Based on their performance in the OMR-based test and computer-based test (CBT), the candidates’ merit list for the second level test and final selection will be created trade/discipline-wise.
VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS WITH ORIGINALS:
For verification of their eligibility as stated in the notification at the time of the second level test, candidates who are called for the Physical Ability Test or Trade Test must present original documents or testimonials supporting their age, qualifications, experience, caste, etc., along with self-attested photocopies.
The candidate or candidates will not be allowed to take the second level test (Physical Ability Test/Trade Test) if they fail to provide or submit the necessary documentation before the test.
In this case, NMDC Management’s decision shall be final.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
No other proof of date of birth or name will be allowed; the applicant’s name and date of birth will always be taken from their matriculation/10th class certificate issued by the recognized Board or their birth certificate issued by a competent institution.
If a candidate is applying for the position of Field Attendant (Tr.) based on their Middle Pass, their name and date of birth as listed in their Middle Pass certificate or the Municipality, Local Authority, or Registrar of Birth registers shall be approved.
Candidates with greater qualifications than those listed in paragraph 2.0 above are ineligible, and their applications will be turned down at any moment during the hiring process or during the selection process.
Any candidate whose information is discovered to be inaccurate, incomplete, or not in compliance with the eligibility requirements outlined in the announcement for the aforementioned position, or who is found to have fabricated or misrepresented any significant information, will have their candidature revoked at any point during the hiring process or even after they are chosen.
Candidates will not have the right to be summoned for further stages of the recruiting process simply because they have met the basic requirements.
The management retains the right, without further notice or justification, to raise, relax, cancel, modify, or amend the entire recruitment/selection procedure in response to changes and requirements.
