On the merit list, candidates with lower Stage 2 negative scores will be ranked higher.
On the merit list, candidates with higher Stage 1 scores will be ranked higher.
On the merit list, candidates with lower Stage 1 negative scores will be ranked higher.
Candidates will be ranked higher on the merit list if they received higher positive scores in mathematics during Stage 1.
Candidates will be ranked higher on the merit list if they received higher positive scores in science during Stage 1.
Note:
For the position of ST/TN (Plant Operator), there will not be a skill test.
Following the online exam, three times as many candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification as there are openings in each category.
All eligible and qualified candidates will be contacted for document verification if the number of candidates who passed the written exam is less than three times the number of openings for each category.
However, in the event of a tie, more than three individuals may be shortlisted for document verification.
Candidates who complete the Document Verification process will be hired based on their merit, as determined by their scores.
How to administer a computer proficiency test:
The purpose of the computer proficiency test is to assess the candidate’s knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system, desktop programs including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, email management, and internet browsing.
As a result, a two-part test with six questions will be created: Part I will cover Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, and Part II will cover email management and internet browsing.
The test will last thirty minutes and be worth one hundred points.
There will be two (two) questions in Part II, each worth ten marks, and four (four) questions in Part I, each worth twenty marks.
Candidates who receive 50% or more will be deemed qualified (GO), while those who receive less than 50% will be deemed ineligible (No GO).
Errors in the provided passage will only be permitted up to 3% of the word count. The candidate will be considered to have failed the typing proficiency test if their errors surpass 3%.
To pass the test, an applicant must type 30 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi, if they choose to type in Hindi, and receive at least 6 out of 10 points for formatting elements.
As indicated in the above chart, there will be ten marks overall for formatting and ten marks for the paragraph’s features.
Application Fee:
Only male applicants who fall within the General, EWS, or OBC categories are required to pay the non-refundable application fee shown below.
The application fee is waived for female applicants, applicants who fall under the SC/ST category, PwBD, ex-servicemen, dependents of defense personnel killed in action (DODPKIA), and NPCIL workers.
If a candidate is willing and qualified to apply for more than one position, they must submit a separate application and payment for each position.
She or he may take the test for only one post; nevertheless, if the online exam is administered for all of the positions in a single session.
Travelling Allowance (TA):
Upon presenting their original journey tickets and a copy of their caste certificate, only outstation Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates who were called for the online exam and who are not working for the Central or State Government, a Public Sector Organization, a Corporation, a Local Government, or a Panchayat will be reimbursed for their train fare by second or sleeper class or regular bus fare by the shortest route permitted by law.
However, candidates who are traveling more than 30 kilometers will receive reimbursement if they can provide their journey tickets.
To be eligible for TA, SC/ST candidates who were summoned for the online exam must submit their caste certificate, journey tickets, and bank account information (with a copy of the first page of their bank passbook) in the manner specified.
Based only on the correspondence address provided in the online application, TA will be electronically sent to the candidates’ bank accounts for to-and-fro travel using the shortest route.
Document Verification:
Every certificate or mark sheet supporting the required educational, technical, or professional qualifications for each year or semester.
Candidates who receive degrees using the CGPA method must present documentation from the university or institute proving that their CGPA grade was converted into the proper percentage, which must match the job’s stated requirements.
Regarding the conversion of CGPA grading, the following guidelines will be adhered to if the relevant University or Institute does not supply it, and a method for converting CGPA into % is not accessible.
Experience Certificate (if applicable), on the company’s letterhead, with the establishment’s seal and stamp, signed by the competent authority of the company, and explicitly stating the duration and type of experience.
Only full-time experience gained after qualifying will be taken into account. Regardless of whether the individual is employed on contract or on the establishment’s rolls, an experience certificate will be necessary.
A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the organization is required of applicants employed by the Central or State Government, PSUs, or Aided Institutions; otherwise, they would not be permitted to appear for Document Verification and subsequent procedures.
For widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from their spouses but not remarried, a certified copy of the relevant court’s decision or decree proving the fact of divorce or judicial separation is required, if applicable.
If the candidate has worked for NPCIL under contract, the contractor’s Experience/Service Certificate, which has been properly provided by the NPCIL Engineer or Officer in Charge, should explicitly state the duration of service, work order number, title, and specifics of the position or duties.
