Under the administrative supervision of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, NPCIL is a prominent Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) with extensive capabilities in all areas of nuclear technology, including site selection, design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, renovation, modernization & upgrade, plant life extension, waste management, and decommissioning of nuclear reactors in India. To share these demanding tasks, NPCIL’s Kakrapar Gujarat Site is accepting online applications from suitable Indian citizens for the following positions.

Note:

PwBD reservations are horizontal, and the PwBD assigned will be balanced against the openings in the corresponding categories, which are SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, and UR.

According to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act of 2016 and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules of 2017, PwBD candidates must provide a Disability Certificate issued by an authority; otherwise, their candidacy will not be taken into consideration.

To be eligible for consideration under the PwBD category, a person must have at least 40% of the relevant disability.

The required assistance for access and seating at the skill test/interview site and online assessment center will be provided to PwBD candidates. According to Government of India standards, PwBD candidates who are invited for an online exam will be permitted to use assistive equipment or a scribe.

To be employed, one must fulfill the minimum educational qualifications.

The candidate will not be disqualified for having any additional qualifications, including those that go above the basic requirements.

Only the basic requirements will be taken into account, though.

As of the deadline for submitting their online applications, candidates must have already passed the qualifying exam.

Eligible candidates are those who took the qualifying exam but whose results have not been released by the important deadline for online application submission.

All of the required prerequisites must be earned from an institution or university approved by the UGC, AICTE, or the relevant statutory authority.

The onus is solely on the candidate to prove recognition.

Relaxation in Age:

For the roles of Assistant Grade-1 (HR), Assistant Grade-1 (F&A), and Assistant Grade-1 (C&MM), PAPs may be 45 years old in the General category, 48 years old in the OBC (NCL) category, and 50 years old in the SC/ST category.

Absorption Norms:

To successfully complete training for the ST/SA (Category I) and ST/TN (Category II) positions, candidates must receive at least 60% of the possible points. The trainee will not be given consideration for admission to NPCIL if they do not receive a minimum of 60% of the possible points.

After completing training, ST/SA (Category-I) learners may be absorbed as Scientific Assistant/B, and ST/TN (Category-II) trainees may be absorbed as Technician/B at the lowest pay rate related to their respective occupations. Nevertheless, based on the proportion of marks earned during training, more raises might be given.

Those hired for the aforementioned positions will be placed on probation for a year, and they will only be confirmed in their positions after completing the probationary period.

Cumulative age relaxation, up to 56 years, is available to applicants who qualify for age relaxation in multiple categories.

Employees currently employed by NPCIL who otherwise meet the requirements are not subject to an age restriction.

At no point during the hiring process will reserved category applicants who meet all requirements for unreserved applicants and apply for unreserved employment be given preference or a concession.

Candidates who are SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, or PwBD are required to present their Caste, Category, Income, and Asset certificates in the format periodically specified by the Indian government.

Concessions and relaxations for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, PwBD, and ex-servicemen shall be granted by periodic directives from the Indian government.

As long as the position is deemed appropriate for the relevant handicap category, the age concession for PwBDs will be accepted regardless of whether the position is designated for PwBDs or not.

When completing the online application, OBC applicants must choose whether they are “Creamy Layer” or “Non-Creamy Layer.” Applicants who fall under the “Creamy Layer” are not eligible for the exemptions and relaxations granted to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants.

The EWS and OBC (NCL) certificates must be current as of the online application deadline.

If the candidate has worked for NPCIL under contract, the contractor’s Experience/Service Certificate, which has been properly provided by the NPCIL Engineer/Officer in Charge, should explicitly state the duration of service, work order number, title, and specifics of the job duties.

If more than five candidates meet the requirements for the Personal Interview, Skill Test, or Document Verification, the candidates who pass the online exam will be shortlisted in order of merit in a ratio of one post to five candidates.

PwBDs will also be shortlisted post-wise in a 1:5 ratio for each handicap category for which positions are reserved, in addition to those above.

If more than one candidate with the same cut-off scores is selected during the shortlisting process, all candidates with the same cut-off scores will be selected for a personal interview, skill test, or document verification.

The shortlisted candidates will be notified in advance of the precise day, time, and location of the skill test, document verification, and personal interview.

The screened-in candidates will receive prior notice of the precise date, time, and location of the online exam. Candidates who have been vetted will be able to access their e-Admit Card on the NPCIL career website to take the online test.

Engineering Diploma Holders Stipendiary Trainees/Scientific Assistants (ST/SA) (Category-I)

For final empanelment, a candidate must be eligible at every step of the specified selection procedure.
