The Tamil Nadu State Child Protection Society (TNSCPS) is accepting applications from qualified individuals for the following posts from the Directorate of Children Welfare and Special Services, Chennai-10. The personnel to be hired by the Tamil Nadu State Child Protection Society would be hired on a temporary, contractual basis.
Roles and Responsibilities of a Program Officer in SCPS:
to work under the program manager’s general supervision and support him in organizing all child protection initiatives for children in need of care and protection, including those who are in legal conflict, as determined by the State Child Protection Society (SCPS).
to support the program manager in organizing, coordinating, and carrying out all advocacy, IEC, training, and capacity-building initiatives at the state and district levels.
In order to implement, oversee, and supervise all activities related to children in need of care and protection at the State and District levels, the entire District must collaborate.
any additional duties approved by the program manager in order to fulfill the mission’s goals.
Supporting the SCPS Accounts Officer.
upkeep of accounts-related registers.
utilizing the Tally and Public Finance Management systems.
Examining every bill prior to payment distribution.
Age Limit:
(Age: Under 42 years old)
In order to be able to formulate policies or carry them out at the field level, retired government employees need to possess adequate experience in the gazette capacity. (Age: no more than 62 years old).
Eligibility criteria:
A diploma or certificate in computers and a 12th-grade pass from an accredited board or equivalent board are required.
a minimum of one year of experience working for a government or non-governmental organization.
competence with computers.
