For candidates currently working in the Government/Public Sector Undertaking:
They must have at least two years of experience in the pay scale of Rs 60000-180000 or higher (IDA pay scale of E3 grade or above of NTPC effective from 01.01.2017) or an equivalent scale out of the ten years of post-qualification experience (including training/trainee period, if any) in the executive cadre.
Additionally, when applying for the position, individuals must submit a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their employer.
For candidates currently working in the Private Sector:
Form 16 about their income tax return for the last three fiscal years should be submitted.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
The only people who can apply are Indian nationals.
All credentials must be from Indian universities or other accredited institutions. Candidates who have passed the qualifying degree and are SC, ST, or PwBD may also apply for the position.
All calculations about age, experience, qualifications, etc., must be completed by the deadline for online applications specified in the advertisement.
Once the online application form has been completed, the category cannot be altered, and no subsequent benefits from another category will be accepted.
Candidates who assert that they fall under a specific category must obtain an EWS, OBC, SC, ST, or disability certificate from the relevant year, if applicable, from the Competent Authority (in the most recent format required by the Government of India).
The upper age restriction is loosened by five years for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC candidates, and ten years for PwBD candidates in cases where a vacancy has been recognized for such a category. Age relaxation for ex-servicemen will follow government regulations.
The company maintains the right, without additional notice and without providing a reason, to increase, decrease, or restrict the number of openings, depending on necessity.
The management retains the right to implement a multi-stage selection process that may include application shortlisting/screening (based on qualification/percentage of marks, number of years of post-qualification experience, etc.), written/computer-based test, personal interview, etc., or a combination of the above, or it may increase the minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates for further selection, if necessary.
It is important to note that meeting the advertisement’s minimal qualifying requirements does not guarantee that an applicant will be selected, invited for an interview or written exam, or given further consideration in the selection process.
Posting will take place at any of NTPC’s stations, projects, joint ventures, or subsidiaries.
At the management’s exclusive option, all positions are transferable.
